Ken Bailey, our Visioning Champion restarted the club's visioning process at last Monday's meeting by providing some perspective with a presentation entitled, "Looking Back, Looking Forward, What Now?" Ken walked us through goals and priorities that had been identified two and half years ago when the club first began to participate in a visioning process. As he reviewed the results from the last session club members were asked to reflect on whether these items were still in line with who the club is now and who we want to be in the future. Ken also review the accomplishments of the 2012-2013 year and reminded us of the fact that we made a large impact on the community last year and in many ways have already accomplished some of the goals outlined in the first visioning session.

The upcoming visioning meetings will deal with specific topics: Five Avenues of Service, Fund Raising and Finances , and Membership.  There will be information provided through the Powderhouse prior to each meeting as the upcoming meetings will be much more interactive and all members are encouraged to state their opinions.  For Visioning to be successful there is a need for each member to provide their input, be heard, debate if need be, and then develop a consensus.  Once that consensus is met then the action plan will be developed to set the road for attainment of the goals stated.  Through all of this we will better define “What Does It Mean To Be An Exeter Rotarian?”
