Announcement of Exeter Rotary Club Scholarships
The Exeter Rotary Club is pleased to announce the availability of several scholarships to Exeter area students of all ages to further their education. The Exeter Rotary Scholarship awards have been part of local school scholarship programs for many years.
Exeter High School Seniors have started to work on scholarship applications with a deadline for submission of April 16, 2021. Two students who have excelled in community service will be given preference for Exeter Rotary’s scholarships. Contact the Exeter High School guidance department for more information.
Two Seacoast School of Technology seniors will also be awarded $1,000 each from the Exeter Rotary Club to continue their educational pursuits. The Seacoast School of Technology is the regional Career and Technical Center serving high school students from Epping, Exeter Newmarket, Raymond, Sanborn and Winnacunnet high schools. Applications for these scholarships are now open to these students. Students who have had community involvement during their school career are given greater consideration. Exeter Adult Education is also given $1,000 to support scholarship funding for adult high school diploma students and its HiSET exams. Exeter Adult Education is part of the Exeter Cooperative School District.
The Exeter Rotary Club has been able to give these scholarships to well-deserving students in our community for decades. The annual Apple Sale Fundraiser has been the main event to support the schools’ programs.
