The Foundation was incorporated in 1998 by members of the Exeter Rotary Club. Gifts to the Foundation are generally deductible for income tax purposes. All members of the Club are members of the Foundation. In addition to offering donors a tax deductible vehicle for gifts, the Foundation sets aside a portion of its assets to endow future scholarships and charitable grants.

The Foundation Board of Directors meets regularly and communicates its activities to the Club membership.  The current Chairman of the Foundation is Jim Rolston, who can be reached at j.rolston@comcast.net.
