Four Avenues of Service - Club Service

Club Service begins with our weekly meeting.  This is a luncheon meeting, held at The Exeter Inn every Monday except for holidays.  Members develop friendships and a better understanding of the lives of other members; after lunch, there is normally either a business meeting or a speaker.

Some other occasional activities that foster fellowship and relationships include:

  • Potluck dinners at members' houses or at events sponsored by the Club.  For example, every December we place luminary bags along the main roads in Exeter at the holidays.  We normally have a potluck dinner after the work session to fill the luminary bags with sand.
  • Cultural outings such as dinner theatre.
  • Card and bowling nights.

Many of the service activities inherently foster Club Service by bringing members together. This year's Club Service Leader is Marilyn Ash-Mower.
